About Rick Norman, Project Manager – Rick brings 14 years of construction and operations management experience to NOVA Mission Critical. Rick, a graduate of the United States Military Academy, earned a construction engineering degree and served as an officer for the United States Army. As a construction project manager for the US Army, Rick managed projects ranging from airfields and roads to buildings and city infrastructure. Rick has managed projects in the Middle East and Asia on combat and non-combat missions as well as domestic projects in the United States. Rick also has a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt which allows him to look for efficiencies in any industry.
About Russell Langbein, Project Superintendent – Russell brings over two decades of “Mission Critical” experience in operations, mission critical infrastructure, and technical decision making to the NOVA team. As a retired Nuclear Training Chief Warrant Officer in the US Navy, Russell’s leadership and technical experience saw him hand-picked to transform mission critical operations and repair teams onboard aircraft carriers and submarines. Russell was directly involved in mission critical installation, testing, and certification of two multi-billion dollar aircraft carrier reactor plants (USS Harry S Truman & USS George HW Bush), with his career culminating with him serving as a project manager for seven environmentally and logistically mission critical submarine maintenance repairs at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. Since retiring from the Navy, Russell worked as a project manager and safety chairman for a fire and security installation at companies such as: Montgomery Independent School District, Conoco-Philips, and Marriot while finishing his MA in Communication and Leadership studies from Gonzaga University where he was selected as a member of the National Communication Honors Society (Lambda-Pi-Eta).
About Aimee Guerrero, Project Coordinator – Aimee has over 13 years of experience in the construction and “Mission Critical” industries having worked in multiple different roles. Aimee’s career first began as a Quality Assurance Manager for a mechanical systems company focusing on the pharmaceutical sector as a dedicated liaison for Alza (Johnson & Johnson) Ortho-McNeil. In 2007 Aimee originally joined the NOVA team where she played a critical role as a Project Engineer working out of our former west coast office. A few years later Aimee joined Diversified Protection Systems, Inc (DPSI) as a Marketing Strategist Manager where she was instrumental for the implementation, deployment and management of the Salesforce platform for a fire life safety contractor focusing on data centers. Aimee is also currently residing as the Director of Communications for the 7x24 Exchange Northern California Chapter.
